Hilary Strong joins London based international media group Bob & Co as CEO.
Strong, formerly CEO of Agatha Christie Limited, joins the group to focus on developing the company’s existing production slate across a range of formats including; television drama and factual, film, theatre, and digital. Strong will also be spearheading the company’s investments into a new literary estates business.
Founded by Bob Benton in 2010, Bob & Co is an effective network of media production businesses partnered with a highly active media investment fund and growing portfolio of content across a range of formats. The group is a fully rounded production business, taking productions from rights acquisition and financing through to production to licensing and merchandising.

Bob & Co’s portfolio includes Duchess Street Productions, developing and producing high-end TV drama, SUMS Media, a film production company focusing on narrative driven films for both theatrical release and digital platforms, Woodcut Media specialising in documentary production, specialist factual and factual entertainment and lifestyle programming and Spark TV which focuses on making bold immersive, dramatic and entertaining factual television. Licensing and merchandising support is provided internally by Larkshead Media, an end to end media service company focusing on children’s content.
The group’s investment arm, The Cultural Capital Fund, seeks long term capital growth through investment in the debt and equity of media content projects across television, film, and theatre. High profile investments include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Ferryman, and the upcoming feature film Finding Your Feet. A further production company, Ghost Light invests in and co-produces theatre and musical productions in the West End and on Broadway including the critically acclaimed theatre hits; David Icke’s Hamlet, Ian Hislop’s The Wipers Times, Apologia with Stockard Channing, and the Play That Goes Wrong.
